I'm sure it was because of Dupes.

Crystal.

You're just beating a dead horse. This thread should have been closed after Faer's post. The OP just wasn't informed of something that was discovered after GWEN was released, 4 months ago.

I think another reason is due to the fact that there was a duplication glitch which was heavily exploited, and they tried banning a large amount of players caught duplicating, however, many players ended up still keeping several armbraces.

Only destroyer weapons are allowed because it is the only high-end (if you wanna call it that) weapon that can be gained from eotn (only need 1 campaign because eotn is an EXPANSION not a campaign) that does not require nightfall. They only did it this way to make it so people without nightfall have it fair I guess..

That argument never made sense and it still doesn't.

You need Nightfall to gain a Mallyx minipet, yet we can put it in our halls. You need Prophecies for Olias, Factions for Zenmai and Nightfall for a whole bunch of heroes, yet we can put them in our halls. We can add campaign specific titles in our halls. We can put armor from every campaign in our halls.

That's 4 monuments that accept "unfair" content. There's really no "fairness" case to be made here when it comes to the fifth monument.

It seems more like a case of "can't make it work properly, but we painted ourselves in a corner when we announced the HoM, so this is what you get even though it sucks."

They still haven't implant tormented weapon in HoH... /sigh, I'll sell my tormented sword+shield at high price once they put the system.

It sucks that you can't show off these weapons. At least greens and perfect golds, because they are considered elite weapons.

However....as said before, the Hall's primary purpose is a link between GW and GW2, not as our personal e-peen accessory. Whether for cool armor or weapon skins, or whatever, it will affect your character in the next game. As was said before, Destroyer weapons are the only ones that don't require one of the games to get them, only EotN. The only argument, according to this "logic", could maybe be greens found in EotN.

Hell, for all we know, the only area certain to be in GW2 is Tyria. Elona is owned by Palawa Joko, making the Sunspears wandering Jedi masters; and Cantha has become as isolated as China in the 16th-19th centuries. There was more in the PC Gamer article dedicated to Tyria than both the other areas combined.

Duping didn't happen until AFTER GW:EN was released, so that arguement is null and void.

Uh, it happened long before GWEN was released.

However, duping is irrelevant to the monument.

This monument is just a lame onyx/diamonds sink. Lame. Nothing more than that. There have been lots of threads about it and nothing has been done. It still needs to be changed.

And the duping outbreak was a couple weeks before GW:EN, not after. Not connected to the HoM issue at all.
